Bluegrass Bash – Fiddle, Banjo & Mando Contests!

Are you a fiddler that needs a little extra cash? How about a banjo picker that has a flair for performance…. or a mandolin player with a special sound….

Then you should be getting ready for the Best of Bluegrass Bash, coming up this August 7 and 8th, 2009 at the AEP Honey Creek Farm in Rockport, Indiana!

Total prize money of $3,000! Contests for Fiddle, Banjo and Mandolin in the Peewee, Beginner, Adult and Senior categories as well as a Bluegrass Band contest!

There’s no entry fee for the event…. just $5 parking per car. No admission charge to the contest or other events and there’s camping available as well! Bring your own lawn chairs, but no coolers please! In case of rain the event will be moved indoors.

Also at the event will be artisan demonstrations, antique steam engine and farm equipment show, various craft vendors, a quilt show and demonstration and a great deal of fun, food and music!
